Started in 2008, the North American Manufacturing Center (NAMC) located in Hebron, Kentucky has grown exponentially. Today, NAMC has delivered over 650 tooling packages for a variety of industries and manufacturing processes including automotive, electrical and infrastructure. Our tooling packages are designed and produced to the highest quality given our years of knowledge and experience of the entire molding process
A key strength we possess is our decades long experience in designing molding systems. We begin by working with customers to fully understand their targets and goals. This information is incorporated in our tooling analysis that includes the number of cavities, parting lines and overall techniques. Our Project Engineering and NAMC team then collaborate to produce clear, and system safe designs.
The details of the project are further developed by NAMC mold designers. Our experienced designers are adept at creating reliable solutions for your molding environment. NAMC also benefits from the shared design experience that resides with our colleagues in Fridingen Germany as well as WICKERT Landau Germany. NAMC also has the ability to file share mold concepts with other production facilities around the globe as we design in Unigraphics NX, a common platform with all of our manufacturing locations.
NAMC also takes pride in the rebuilding and refurbishment of customer owned tooling as well as DESMA waste reduction programs like cold runner systems. Leaking seals, damaged components, poor coolant flow, burned out heaters, and broken utility connections are all signatures of a needed maintenance.
During production, NAMC applies the highest standards of quality control as parts are tested to ensure accuracy. All tooling and CRB systems are assembled by our tenured craftsmen. Our 28,000 square foot facility includes 5-axis milling, turning, and grinding equipment to meet any production requirements.
Utilizing in-stock machines, our project engineer’s test all elastomer molds prior to shipment. With NAMC as your partner, the overall process from design to build, from testing to production, will save you time and precious resources at your factory.
